WEIGHT TRAINING
    First of all, I'd like to
start out by saying that
I'm a firm believer in
classic weight training
for increasing bone
density and building and
toning muscle.   There
really is nothing that can
replace it for what it
does.  That being said, it
is limited, and must be
combined with other
types of workouts in
order to improve overall
health!  The larger you
can build your muscles,
the higher your resting
metabolic rate (the
amount of calories that
you burn) will be higher,
thereby helping you to
burn fat.  I hear women
all the time telling me
that they don't want to
get big and bulky, so
they stay away from
weights.  First of all, get
that out of your mind
right now- it's NOT going
to happen.  
Different types of lifting can change your muscle size, but women will
NEVER be big unless you are using illegal substances combined with your
training.  You need to understand how your body works in order to make it
work for you!  

I combine weight training with other types of training in order to help you
make yourself into a balanced, healthy, and fit body!  Regular weight training
is an essential part of that formula, along with proper nutrition before and
after your sessions.  You want to help your muscles grow to the best of their
ability, so feeding them properly is also an essential part of the equation.  
Never be afraid of weights; the are just another tool that can help you get to
your fitness goals much quicker than if you did not use them, and I am here
every step of the way to help you through the process!
